Our Story

We were born to fill a gap

A story about what often goes unseen — and the decision to accompany it.

SELF Alliance was born by identifying an often-overlooked space: women, and young people just beginning their first relationships, who don't necessarily experience obvious violence but do face dynamics that slowly affect their self-esteem and the way they value themselves.

Illustration: a woman kneels with her face in her hand while another kneels beside her, a hand on her shoulder, accompanying her.
Not every wound is visible; many begin in the everyday.

They are comments that make you doubt, control disguised as concern, or the feeling of having to shrink to fit into a relationship. Over time, these dynamics shape how a woman sees herself and what she believes she deserves.

SELF Alliance exists to fill that gap through education, prevention, community, and accompaniment. We believe information arrives in time when it is offered with warmth, and that no one should have to rebuild themselves alone.

Educate before it hurts. Accompany while it heals. Celebrate when it blooms.

Today we are building a space where learning, reflecting, and growing feel close — a place women return to because they find useful tools and a community in which they recognize themselves.

Our focus

The space we work in

Many organizations address visible domestic violence and immediate crisis. We focus on what often goes unnamed — with special attention to women who appear strong on the outside while silently navigating harmful dynamics without an adequate support system.
